Looking Ahead in Progress Testing Conference 2018

An international conference with a line-up of leading expert speakers in the field of medical assessment

This one day conference, organised by Prof Adrian Freeman, is a joint collaboration between the University of Exeter Medical School and the European Board of Medical Assessors, and will take the form of interactive plenaries and short oral presentations.

Topics will include:

  • Understanding progress testing
  • The psychometrics of progress testing
  • Different contexts for progress testing
  • An assessment tool for the future?

Audience

Open to all. Those experienced with Progress Testing (PT) can come and present academic findings and those new to PT can learn more about it and present their academic questions.

Submit an abstract

We invite you to submit an abstract ( medicine.exeter.ac.uk/progresstestingconference/abstracts/) for a short oral presentation. We are keen to learn about how you have instigated progress testing, perhaps you want to explain why you are thinking about progress testing, standard setting question banks, feedback, progress decisions, psychometrics, educational research. There is so much we can learn from each other so please consider a submission.

Deadline for abstract submission is 20th March 2018 midnight.
